We are a small team writing warm, psychology informed parenting guides and tools. This page tells you who we are, how we write, and what our guidance is and is not.
Who is behind the guide
Regulated Parents Guide is written by the Regulated Parents Guide team. Our writers are parents and content specialists who read primary research in child development and translate it into plain, usable guidance for everyday family life. We publish under a shared team byline rather than individual names so that every article reflects the same standard of care, tone, and review.
We are an independent parenting education publisher. We are not a clinical practice, and reading our guides is not the same as working with a licensed professional.
Our evidence based approach
Our writing draws on established, peer reviewed frameworks in developmental psychology, including attachment theory, polyvagal theory and nervous system co-regulation, and current research on parent child relationships. We follow safe sleep guidance from major pediatric bodies such as the American Academy of Pediatrics.
We aim for guidance that is warm, practical, and shame free. When research disagrees or a topic is genuinely uncertain, we say so instead of pretending there is one right answer.
How we write and review content
An outline is drafted based on the questions parents actually ask.
A writer on the team drafts the article using the sources described above.
A second team member reviews the piece for accuracy, tone, and clarity before publish.
Any safety topic, for example infant sleep, is checked against current public health guidance.
Each article shows a visible Published date and a Last updated date. When we make a meaningful correction or refresh a piece, the Last updated date changes.
We do not currently list a named external clinical reviewer. If we add one in the future, we will name that person and their real credential directly on each reviewed page. We will never attach a credential we cannot verify.
Corrections and updates
If you spot an error or think a guide is out of date, please email support@regulatedparentsguide.com. We read every message and update the article, along with its Last updated date, when a correction is warranted.
What our guidance is, and is not
Regulated Parents Guide is evidence based parenting education. It is not medical, psychological, or mental health care, and it is not a substitute for advice from your pediatrician, family doctor, or licensed therapist. If you have concerns about your child's health, development, or safety, please contact a qualified professional.
If you or your child is in crisis, contact local emergency services or a trusted crisis line in your country right away.
